Many years ago therapy was in my awareness, I had problems, I suffered because of my past, I was depressed, unhealthy and had a few anger issues to name a few. It took me years of awareness to move through the darkness, the fears and the patterns on my own with no help.
These days we have the internet and there's plenty of help, but which one is for you?
Here is a simple overview of human behaviour from the state of being unconscious.
Both view points are looking at the same patterns of thought, emotion and Behaviours but one is dealing with the unconscious person and one is with the conscious.
Problems - A problem is something that you are in resistance to, you may be unconscious saying to yourself, "I don't like this, This isn't good enough, This is wrong, I know, I believe", etc. Ask yourself - What am I resisting right now, what am I fighting or trying to control.
Thoughts - Are interpretations popping up into your awareness, it can be as simple as you just remembered you didn't feed the cat to constant thoughts of criticism.
Emotions - are a part of the natural human experience and are a helpful signal in bringing awareness to our suffering. They are also a powerful driver of our behaviours.
Behaviours - are also called habits or actions - 'doing'
What are your thoughts saying/be curious
What are your emotions pointing to/ they have to be felt
What are your behaviours doing for you - there's always a reward
Thoughts
Emotions
Behaviours are all Repetitive Patterns working in union together
Belief/thoughts → Emotions → Behaviours → Outcome
Yes, ultimately you could see yourself as a bunch of repetitive patterns, unconscious, habitual patterns, layered around a beautiful ball of consciousness.
The more you remove these layers of patterns, you will raise your state of consciousness.
Anger - A result of feeling powerless or boundary crossed - fear. We become angry to take back the boundary, to feel in control and to feel powerful again.
Anger is also a healthy emotion, just not when it's controlling our life.
Triggered - An opportunity for you to become aware of something within yourself that you are unconscious of, the external thing just helped it out of hiding. Don't waste the opportunity.
Offended - "That offends me", You are simply offended by your own beliefs, opinions, views on the subject, word or idea. If you give a word or idea a particular meaning and then get upset at it's use, it is your meaning that you are getting offended over.
You have a belief, or you have given meaning to or you have become attached to, and if someone else sees, says or does differently you feel threatened. "I'm upset that you think/do/see differently than me, because I'm so attached to the meaning I have given this" is a more honest way to put it. And will help you to let it go.
Stories - We make up stories continuously about how we think things are, what people are doing, who we think we are and how we think the world is. These stories are a statement of our level of awareness and our imagination.
We have the ability to make up the most glorious stories yet we are drawn to the worst and this is creating our reality.
Memories - A memory may pop up into your awareness as a signal to something unresolved in your past and every time you relive the emotion attached to it. Memories can be used to resolve your beliefs, fears and attachments.
Attachments - Everything that we become attached to has the ability to cause suffering. This includes our identity, other people, ideas, possessions, beliefs. There is a reason why you become attached. How does that attachment make you feel? What meaning have you given to it?
Trauma - Our normal human emotions and problems have been pathologised and used as a profit making machine keeping us stuck in these patterns and not showing us how to resolve them. You do not have an illness, disease of the mind and you are not broken.
Thoughts - must be acknowledged and reflected upon to find the source.
Emotions - must be fully felt in the body to be fully expressed
Behaviours - can be disrupted to break the habit, awareness and being present can change course and reward.
Imagination, role play and visualization can be used along side emotional expression.
Identity - who we believe we are. This is one of our greatest attachments. We may believe, "this is who I am, I can't help who I am", we become attached to personality traits, labels we give ourselves - We want to feel certain and significant about ourselves so we happily find labels to categorize ourselves into and are even encouraged to do so (yes, the pro-noun debacle), by the very people who know what labeling does.
Know that this is not who you truly are, it's who you have become and you have the ability to transform.
But.....
Don't be harsh on yourself, you are awakening, so be curious.
Manifestation is the Outcome or the result of the Thoughts - Emotions - Behaviours
The unconscious cycle of repeating patterns that now becomes conscious to bring about a desired result instead of an unconscious undesirable result.
Beliefs/Thoughts - Believe and know that what you desire is here
Emotions - The power driver - feel that it is certain
Behaviour - Do and Be as if the desire is now
Reward - The outcome/manifestation - as the reward was already felt.
This is the same cycle as the one above, but is conscious. A person at a higher state of consciousness. Mind and Heart in coherence. ( Energy - Frequency )
We are only able to understand something at our own level of awareness, our awareness within, so if we are consumed by any suffering and unconscious repetitive patterns this is something that we will have to develop awareness to first. We cannot resolve what we are not aware of.
Dabble in manifestation but if you find that it's not working for you, pay attention to what you are in resistance to, what your fears are and your beliefs. The more we resolve these unconscious parts of ourselves the less resistance we feel, until resistance no longer occurs and we are in a higher state of consciousness.
